Intensive student week in Italy
The Erasmus+ INTELLIGENT project intensive week took place in Reggio Emilia, Italy, bringing together students and project partners from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, the Netherlands, Italy, and Portugal. Its aim was to foster international cooperation, develop entrepreneurial skills, and promote practical learning based on real-life business challenges.
On the first day, participants were introduced to the INTELLIGENT project, its objectives, and the tasks planned for the intensive week. Students from the partner organisations introduced their countries, universities, and themselves. They were then divided into international working groups to work together on the ITINERE tourism business challenge.
The student teams applied their knowledge, creativity, and entrepreneurial skills to jointly develop solutions for attracting Generation Z and Alpha visitors to the Reggio Emilia region. The students came up with a wide range of exciting ideas, from themed events to the design of a mobile application featuring tourism activities and experiences.
The first day’s programme also included visits to Reggio Hub and Innovation Park, giving participants an opportunity to gain a closer insight into the local innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Participants also had the chance to explore Reggio Emilia and experience Italian culture.
At the end of the intensive week, the students presented their proposed solutions. They also tested a version of the entrepreneurship game developed within the project and provided valuable feedback to support its further development.
