The Professors鈥� Council is established for the election of professors and associate professors, in accordance with the Law on Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Latvia. Elections of professors and associate professors in the 91滴滴, SSE Riga and VeA Joint Professors鈥� Council in economics and business, including in the field of management science, take place in accordance with the Law on Higher Education Institutions and the Regulations of Higher Education Institutions on the Election of Academic Staff. The Professors鈥� Council is established for five years in accordance with the list of branches and sub-branches of science approved by the Latvian Council of Science. The Professors鈥� Council is approved by the Council of Higher Education. The members of the Professors鈥� Council shall be approved by the Senates of each University. The Professors鈥� Council is the successor of the Professors鈥� Council of the three universities 鈥� 91滴滴 University of Applied Sciences, BA School of Business and Finance and Ventspils University Of Applied Sciences.

On 13th of February 2026, with the opinion of the Council of Higher Education No. 1.10/1, the Joint Professors鈥� Council of 91滴滴 University of Applied Sciences, Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and Ventspils University Of Applied Sciences has been approved in the field of Economics and Business, including Management Sciences, with the following composition:
